New Leadership and Enterprise, Facilitator Development Programme (FDP) course dates released

Leap's Leadership and Enterprise Programme, based in Southwark and Lambeth, follows a whole group approach that sees young people support each other to make positive choices in their lives.
The Facilitator Development Programme is a three-month course for youth practitioners and volunteers aged 18 -25 years old to be trained in conflict management and deliver interactive group sessions.
The Programme Structure
This programme is run by experienced Leap trainers and will support you to gain a level 2 OCN qualification in ‘Designing and Facilitating a Workshop’ On completing the course you will have experienced Leap’s unique conflict management training and understand how to design and deliver workshops. Leap will also support you to deliver group sessions in your own community.
With the Leadership and Enterprise Facilitation Programme you will:
- Receive expert training in emotional intelligence
- Get expert training in delivering workshops for diverse cohorts and audiences
- Observe Leap’s experienced trainers and receive coaching
- Be willing to study, reflect and record learning in your own time
- Attend a residential trip
- Deliver workshops
- Complete written assignments (with support if needed)

- This programme is for youth practitioners and volunteers who want to expand their skill sets
- There are 12 places available on the course and participants will be required to submit an application and attend an interview
- The course is free and travel costs will be included
Dates:
The application deadline is Friday 18th January (9am). Interviews will be held the week commencing 21st January at our South London Office (Cambridge House, Camberwell).
