Ben Kernighan, Chief Executive, Leap Confronting Conflict, said:

Barings, one of the world's leading financial service firms, has chosen to partner with Leap from 2019 – 2020 and will aim to raise funds over this time to support Leap’s work with young people who face high levels of conflict in their lives. As well as supporting Leap’s training and development programmes. Barings will also offer work experience, mentoring opportunities and career advice for Leap graduates.

Ben Kernighan, Chief Executive, Leap Confronting Conflict, said: “In a year in which violent crime has risen sharply and the number of young people going into care, and those permanently excluded from school, continues to rise, it is so important that we all play a part in supporting young people to manage conflict in their lives. I am delighted Barings has joined us in supporting young people to make real change in their lives and in the communities in which they live.”

Erin Branstrom, Head of Social Impact at Barings, said: “Leap was selected as a charity partner by Barings employees who recognise the valuable work the organisation does in supporting young people who face high levels of conflict in their lives.

Barings is committed to supporting organisations that advance economic mobility and Leap’s objectives closely align with our own goals of being active and engaged members in our communities. We look forward to supporting Leap in the positive work they do, not only financially but also in working closely with Leap graduates.”
