Leap Academy seminars and articles
Leap Academy seminars cover current issues to begin debate and discussion between academics, practitioners and young people
Each year the Leap Academy of Youth and Conflict hosts a series of events on topical issues with the aim to encourage debate and dialogue between academics, practitioners and young people.
We like to think that the academy works in the space where these three groups can meet – to help merge practice and theory, to help translate complex ideas into actions, to bring action research and real life experience of pilots and trial projects to the notice of theorists and policy makers.
Here you can find some of the areas covered by recent Leap Academy seminars, and articles written by the specialists who delivered them.
For those who attended, it’s a chance to refresh your learning. For others, it’s a chance to find out what was said.
This is the place for challenging questions and fresh research. Read up on what you missed. And maybe next time you’ll join us.
