Conflict resolution and peace

Leap Confronting Conflict believes that doesn’t have to be destructive. It can be the force to create change.

PF training

Leap is working to create a legacy of prevention of violence for the future through training young people to prevent and manage everyday conflict in their lives.

The spectrum of organisations working in the field of conflict resolution and peace is huge; they range from helping families stay together to mediating between countries at war. Leap’s work is linked with theirs on a continuum from personal conflict management and local community based conflict resolution work to the global prevention and peace keeping work that we hear about in the media.

Leap is a partner with the ‘Community Initiative to Reduce Violence’ (CIRV) in Glasgow – a Scottish multi-agency project to tackle the violent gang culture prevalent in parts of the city.

Leap contributes to and attends the UK All Party Parliamentary Group for Conflict Resolution and Peace events.

Check back here soon to read more about where we fit on that spectrum, more about our partners and more about the wider work and initiatives we are involved in.
