Amanda Nelmes

Social Enterprise Consultancy & Training Manager

Amanda is currently responsible for the quality, range and impact of the menu offered to organisations, teams and services. Amanda was previously a full time freelancer and has delivered work for Leap since 1998. As a Senior Trainer and consultant for the organisation she is skilled in the delivery of all Leap youth programmes and adult training. She specialises in working with excluded and vulnerable young people in the community, and creating institutional change using the “whole school approach”.

Amit joined Leap in 2008 and is responsible for developing Training and Consultancy at Leap into a successful social enterprise.

Anita Sehdev

Pathfinder Team Leader – North

Anita Joined Leap in November 2009. She became the Team Leader in Yorkshire for the Pathfinder Youth Project leading a team delivering peer mediation in schools and community youth programmes. Anita has over 12 years of experience of working with challenging youth and co-coordinating projects around the country.

Jessie Feinstein

Action Research Manager and Leap Specialist Consultant

Jessie supports nine organisations around the country helping them include conflict resolution in their sports programmes for young people. She heads up the development of Action Research and manages pilot projects. Jessie joined Leap in 2001 as a Gangs and Territorialism worker, spending five years developing a group work programme for working with young people and gangs issues.

PeerLink Membership, Communications and Resources Coordinator

John started at Leap in 2003 and works with young people to develop the membership of the project and resources for PeerLink such as the website, newsletters and DVDs, and to organise the National PeerLink Awards.

Leap Academy Assessment Centre Manager

Marilyn’s role was newly established in July 08, as the Leap Academy Assessment Centre Manager, setting up the systems to ensure the young people gain worthwhile qualifications whilst attending Leap’s courses.

PeerLink Project Manager

Natalie joined Leap in 2008 as the PeerLink Project Manager. PeerLink is a national network for young people involved in conflict resolution and mediation and Natalie’s role includes organising events, conferences and the National PeerLink Awards to bring young people and adults together to share ideas, develop their skills and become part of a national conflict resolution movement.

Pathfinder Project Worker - North

Natasha is a Pathfinder Youth Project Worker based in the Leeds office, and is responsible for supporting training to schools and community groups through Quarrel Shops and school based training programmes.

Samson Osinnowo

Pathfinder Project Worker – London

Samson helps young people at Leap develop their ideas, improve their skills, increase their knowledge of conflict resolution and boost their confidence. Samson was originally a Quarrel Shop participant, which is where he developed his skills as a facilitator. He moved into paid employment on the PeerlInk project and is now a full time member of the Pathfinder team.

Quarrel Shop and Youth Leadership Manager

Sandy joined Leap’s gangs team in 2007 and is now leading on the Quarrel Shop and Young trainers and Apprentice Projects.

Pathfinder Project Worker - North

Sandeep is based in the Leeds office and works on the Pathfinder Youth Project, part of a team delivering peer mediation in schools and community youth programmes.

Tanya Hubbard

Pathfinder Team Leader - London

Tanya was originally seconded to Leap by Quaker Peace and Social Witness from September 2007. She became the Team Leader in London for the Pathfinder Youth Project in September 2008.

Tom Currie

Leap Academy Quality & Training Manager

Tom manages the delivery of the Academy’s calendar courses for adult practitioners and also the selection, training and development of the freelance trainers who deliver Leap’s courses.
