Leap is a UK specialist in youth and conflict
Experts in the causes and consequences of youth conflict ... Leap runs a social enterprise, is a registered training provider and specialist academy of youth and conflict.
Established in 1987, Leap prevents escalation of everyday conflict into violence, by promoting understanding of the causes and consequences of youth conflict and sharing skills in handling and transforming conflict.
Leap’s holistic approach to conflict resolution, distinctive training style and experience working with a range of issues spanning everyday interpersonal conflict, group offending, preventing weapon and knife crime, tackling bullying, reducing racist violence, and peer mediation, have made it the first choice for many agencies.
Leap’s pioneering work is delivered through community and school based projects and always in local partnerships, with the support of more than 50 specialist trainers around the UK, many of whom are young people themselves.
