Youth and Conflict Courses

Leap Confronting Conflict’s training courses are for any adult working with young people in a professional way.

You might be a Connexions worker, a youth worker, a teacher, a social worker, a policeman, a housing officer, or a member of council staff.

Engaging Methods
Courses are participatory and dynamic in style, offering new ways of engaging and challenging young people. Our techniques will help you and the young people you work with to explore their attitudes, develop awareness, learn skills and change behaviour. The materials are applicable for working with individuals and groups.

Unique Materials
Leap Confronting Conflict has over 22 years experience of designing and delivering transformational programmes for young people, and training youth professionals. Our training materials and resources are developed through rigorous trialling and testing in the field before they are disseminated through our adult training courses.

Delivered by Experts
Leap Academy trainers are Youth and Conflict experts. With backgrounds in the fields of youthwork, working with youth at risk, conflict resolution, mediation, drama and enactive techniques they have come through a rigorous induction and training programme in the core Youth and Conflict specialisms.

The courses are held in Liverpool, Bradford and London.

For further information please email the Academy or telephone +44 (0) 20 7561 3700.
