Working with Identity and Prejudice
This is a two-day course for frontline practitioners working with young people.
It gives you an opportunity to look at how you face challenging contemporary issues and tensions in your work with different groups of young people, and explore a fresh approach to working constructively with diversity.
Aim
- Gain a greater understanding of the concepts of identity, culture and belonging.
- Learn interactive techniques to engage young people regarding identity, culture and belonging.
- Develop a range of responses for challenging prejudice in young people.
