Working with Challenging Behaviour
This is a one-day introductory course for practitioners working directly with young people.
It is an experiential and highly participatory course and will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills in dealing with conflict situations you may encounter in your work with young people.
Aim
- Increase awareness of my own relationship to challenging behaviour.
- Gain understanding of triggers for conflict and challenging behaviour.
- Develop more strategies for dealing with challenging behaviour.
Notes
This is an excellent introduction to the longer course, Playing with Fire.
