Continuing professional development for practitioners

The Leap Academy provides excellent, certificated Continuing Professional Development for Practitioners.

Adults who work with young people constantly face new challenges in their work.

  • Dealing constructively with conflict when it arises.
  • Learning new skills to prevent and manage violence and conflict
  • Working in multi-agency settings
  • Finding ways to refresh methodology and thinking to best meet the changing needs of young people in a challenging world.

As practitioners, you tell us you want top quality training with meaningful qualifications.

Through the Leap Academy you are:

  • linked to National Quality and Workforce Development Frameworks.
  • able to gain CAT points as part of your CPD.

You can also gain practical skills and understanding that enable you to do your job more effectively and confidently.

Leap Academy’s Youth and Conflict courses are soon to be accredited by Leeds Metropolitan University.

Leap has a long and successful history of training adults. Our teaching is based on our direct experience of working at the frontline with young people and conflict.
