Police
Police officers can find themselves facing a very diverse client group in a broad range of situations which often include conflict. Leap has trained officers in to improve their range of responses to confrontational situations and to use conflict resolution techniques effectively. Leap offers tools and techniques to help engage young people regarding gangs, group offending, attitudes and behaviours driven by prejudice.
Many effective programmes that the police are involved in also include other agencies working together with the police force. Leap have designed and delivered a number of different bespoke training packages to help ensure a common language and approach within multi agency teams. This helps to ensure a more consistent experience of intervention for the young clients within the programme, enabling them to achieve better results.
