PeerLink Awards 2010
Monday 14th June 2010
Celebrating the outstanding contribution young people make to resolving conflict in schools and communities.
Leap Confronting Conflict’s fourth annual PeerLink Awards took place on Thursday 10th June at BT Centre to celebrate young people who make a difference to their schools and communities through conflict resolution.
BBC Journalist and Panorama presenter Jane Corbin presented the awards to ten really deserving winners from all across the UK.
“I’m delighted to be able to support Leap’s innovative work with young people. As a journalist, I often report on violence and conflict that is taking place across the world. The young people here today have shown what can be done by tackling conflict in a constructive way before it escalates.”
