Barclays commend successful event

On Thursday 28th July, 90 delegates from the Insurance and Investments team attended training delivered by Leap Confronting Conflict.

The attendees had the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops that developed different approaches to better manage communications and conflict situations.

Paul McNamara, Managing Director of Insurance and Investments said:

We came away inspired and motivated to consider approaches to better manage communications and conflict situations both in a work context and in our personal lives.

Additionally, Leap would like to thank Barclays for the significant sum paid for our work at the event as well as the £660 raised on the day and the numerous offers of pro bono support. Events like this provide young people with a new opportunity to work with professionals and generates income for harder to fund work that improves the lives of young people.
