Leap Confronting Conflict is looking for a Senior Communications and Policy Officer to raise the profile of our work with major stakeholders and the wider public.

Managed by the Deputy Chief Executive, this role is varied with responsibilities including managing the website and social media presence, PR and media relations, producing marketing materials and the Impact Report and leading on the planning for Lighting the Fire – Leap’s annual awards ceremony. The role also takes responsibility for Leap’s policy work, collaborating closely with experts within the organisation and young people who have been through our programmes.

This role is part of the Income and External Affairs Team, but the successful candidate will work with colleagues across the whole organisation. The Senior Communications and Policy Officer will be supported to develop new skills: Chief Executive (Thomas Lawson) and Deputy Chief Executive (Ben Kernighan) both have communications experience and one of our trustees has experience managing communications in a FTSE 100 company.
