Friday 18th November 2011
A 10 minute film presented by Brooke Kinsella is on BBC1 on Sunday at 5pm

The BBC Lifeline appeal will show the general public the fantastic work Leap Confronting Conflict does with disadvantaged young people; helping them to manage conflict in their lives to stop it turning to violence.
Presented by Brooke Kinsella, whose brother was fatally stabbed 2008, the appeal follows the lives of young people who have been involved in Leap training – and shows how different their lives are now.
As Brooke says, “I have seen many schemes that try to deter young people from violence and crime, but Leap not only enables young people to turn their lives around, it gives them the skills and ability to make choices to ensure it is long term.”

The appeal will be broadcast on BBC1 on Sunday 20th November at 17:00 and on BBC2 on Wednesday 23 November 2011 at 13:30. There is a dedicated page on the BBC website which will be populated with photos, film clips and a donation form, from Sunday evening.
